Things that make me feel like I'm living on the edge

  1. Listening to audible at 2-3x the normal speed
Definitely induces anxiety as I try to hang onto and process every word at warp speed.
  2. Pulling the EZ pass toll tag out at the last possible second
I really need to mount it to my windshield but the morsel of an adrenaline rush I get from playing chicken with the tag reader is so addictive.
  3. Drinking caffeinated stuff after 4pm
I know this is bad for my sleep hygiene but I'm going to do it anyway, and then kick myself as I stare at the ceiling all night long.
  4. Not setting an alarm
My internal clock is pretty damn good... But there's always that inner fear that I'm going to wake up later than usual the next day
  5. Not filling up the car right away when the low gas light comes on.
I can probably make it home!

  6. Deadlines
Can't stop thinking about the project until it's done! Of course, my procrastination doesn't help. It's a vicious cycle.

  7. Not cleaning up spills/stains immediately and just wait to see what happens.
FYI -ants showed up to enjoy the Popsicle and wine stains.

  8. Not feeding the parking meter
Sometimes I just get out and walk. Exponentially badass feelings if someone nearby is in the process of feeding theirs.

  9. Leaving the house with no diapers or snacks for the kids.
Did this on Friday when I was in an "F it" sort of mood. It backfired. Little one pooped in the mall. Both were "staaarrrving" and whiny. Back to my life of planning ahead.

  10. Running to the bathroom when the plane starts boarding
Obviously the boarding process will take like 30 minutes, and I'm always at the back of the line... But I feel like I'm "omg just making it before the gate closes."
