Gorgeous, Lavish, Breathtaking Movies 🎥

Beautiful costumes, furnishings and lush surroundings. What gorgeousness am I missing? Truly rich & lush, si vous plait.
  1. Woman in Gold - 2015
Flashbacks to pre-Nazi Austria is where the loveliness lies. Story of the famous painting by Klimt.
  2. A Little Chaos - 2014
It's about the garden Kate Winslet's character creates for Louis the 14th and you get to see all the loveliness of Versailles. Alan Rickman is the Sun King-he's also the director. 🙏🏼
  3. Anna Karenina -2012
Stars Keira Knightley and Jude Law. It's about infidelity and bad things happen but it's very beautiful.
  4. The Age of Innocence -1993
Scorsese creates a gorgeous backdrop for story set during the Gilded Age. Based on Edith Wharton's book.
  5. The Duchess - 2008
Keira Knightly stars as the Duchess of Devonshire who decides if her husband has an affair, why shouldn't she? Another lavish film with glorious costumes and settings.
  6. A Month by the Lake - 1995
Vanessa Redgrave and Uma Thurman are guests at Lake Como, Italy, 1937. The rich frolic, eat, play tennis and swim at the picturesque resort. On the cusp of wartime, it's only a sidebar to character development. Uma plays a spoiled bitch-it's great.
  7. Marie Antoinette 2006
The Sofia Coppola directed movie starring Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette is one of my favorites. It didn't get the best reviews but the costuming is fantastic and the modern music soundtrack is truly the best.
