TWO RARE AND LOVELY THINGS

That I've experienced this week
  1. Communicating with a person and knowing that you understand them and they understand you, in a big deep way that feels real and tangible
And like it can be a foundation to build something on, which is wonderful and scary. But not scary in a bad way - scary in a way that feels thrilling and like you should take a deep breath and slow down, because things are about to change, they're changing even now, and it feels like this summer might change everything
  2. Having a song stuck in your head for days and it seems to influence your mood and the way you move and how you talk because it's all that's running through your brain and finally hearing it and feeling endorphins rush through you, and it settles into your bones and your body greets it like a friend
