KERNELS OF WISDOM FROM MY COLLEGE PROFESSORS 2006-2010

You may be into this @yassirlester
  1. "Who you are, it's like a stain that comes through."
This was in response to the idea that developing writers might imitate the style of writers they admire. Your imitation will always have traces of your own style.
  2. "If you want to get something done, give it to a busy person."
  3. "Relationships based on intense physical attraction tend not to last very long."
I was 20 or 21, and I wanted to scream "NO!!!!!" But she was totally right.
  4. "Sometimes it's painful to learn."
It was a Spanish professor who said "A veces es doloroso aprender", which I like better, for some reason.
  5. "Life is bittersweet."
