Books Read in 2016

  1. Emma (Jane Austen)
One of the longer reads of Jane Austen. Also watched Emma Approved and BBC mini-series. Slightly disturbed by the fact that Knightley is twice (thrice?) her age.
  2. A Room of One's Own (Virginia Woolf)
Very powerful feminist read. A great motivation for future Woolf novels and non-fictions in general.
  3. The Millstone (Margaret Drabble)
Quite a cosy read. Simple story yet insightful.
  4. Never Let Me Go (Kazuo Ishiguro)
A enjoyable fictional read that slowly unfolds. The narration has limitation but the overall idea discussed is there.
