Your Favorite Girl Power Movies

I'm working on an article on the best girl power flicks. I have my own ideas but I'd love to hear which ladies you think kick-ass on film. Always good to hear from the hive mind. (Also for great Netflix queuing!) A few no-brainers:
  1. Thelma and Louise
  2. Legally Blonde
    Yes, really.
  3. Aliens
  4. Bend It Like Beckham
  5. Working Girl
  6. A League of Their Own
  7. The Hunger Games

  29. Kill Bill

  30. Mona Lisa Smile and Beaches
Yes, both are weepies. But both also have a great message for women about supporting each other, the importance of female friendship and the idea that all of our life choices are okay. Career women? Great! Homemakers? Right on! There isn't one way to be a woman.

Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy play a married couple who are imposing council on a murder case. She's brilliant and inspiring in this film.
