Reasons I Think Ellie Goulding's New Song Is in Response to "Don't"

I think it's pretty common knowledge that there is a lot of speculation Ed Sheeran's "Don't" is about Ellie Goulding. He neither confirms nor denies the rumor. Anyway, I feel like Ellie Goulding's "On My Mind" is a response. Feel free to disagree.
  1. "Next thing that I know I'm in the hotel with you."
This to me pretty clearly a direct correlation "Don't." "*knock knock knock* on my hotel door," and "you can swing by my room around 10." I mean, it sounds like all of this went down in hotels.
  2. "You wanted my heart but I just liked your tattoos"
Tattoos. Really. Like Ed's tattoos. And also the fact that he just wanted heart, which totally seems like an Ed thing, especially when you listen to "Don't."
  3. "You don't mess with love, you mess with the truth."
This is pretty much "Don't **** with my love," in a nutshell.
  4. The fact that the whole song is about not really understanding how she did him wrong, but she feels like she did like him.
The vibe from "Don't" is kind of the same. Like the girl didn't really get how she was being hurtful when she was.
