    La Cucaracha—St. Paul
    Good Mexican food, in my northern white girl palate's opinion. They charge for chips and salsa 😒, but they're pretty damn good. On the pricier side, but not out of control. {beef and cheese enchiladas with rice, beans, and guac} <$40 for 2 people w/ tip>

    Red Cow—St. Paul
    Just all around good place. Usually have to wait a while, but totally worth it. Service can be kind of meh, but I'm always too engrossed in my food to notice. Highlights: cheese curds with triple berry ketchup, bacon caramel puff corn, all the burgers. All of them. Fair price for great food, and they've got a solid beer and wine menu.

    French Meadows—Minneapolis
    Brunch. All of the brunch. Plenty of vegan and organic options, if that's your thing. {Cajun hash browns with bacon}

    Pinstripes—Edina
    Cool atmosphere. They've got bocce and bowling in house. There's a pond with a walking path behind it. Service was good and the food was pretty good. Fries were different, but in a good way. {turkey avocado club}

    Redstone—Eden Prairie
    WHOA THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. It might have just been the incredible service, or the awesome food, but this place is great. Food is pricey af. But it's worth it. The walleye was just the most delicious fish I've ever had. So good. {bbq chicken flatbread}
