THIS ONE TIME WHEN I HAD A DREAM ABOUT STEPHEN COLBERT

This is a dream I will never, ever forget. If all of my memories are ever erased by some evil villain, I hope they let me keep this dream.
  1. Let me break this down for you.
  2. I had a dream about Colbert when I was younger (18-20??).
  3. The dream's setting is a hotel room in Germany.
  4. I visited the hotel in the fifth grade. It's in Düsseldorf and called the Steigenberger.
  5. It is a beautiful, old hotel that's been wonderfully maintained.
Side: I remember eating afternoon snacks in this room with my mom and sister. I drank orange soda and ate ice cream. It was glorious. We watched the dogs that were allowed to walk around in the hotel with their owners.
  6. So anyway, this is what the hotel room looked like.
  7. Except in my dream, the desk was in the space between the two doors to the balcony.
  8. And there I sat, with the shades drawn, in the half light of the afternoon, typing on a computer.
  9. And the television hums on in the background, with German news being reported.
  10. And I am really focused on whatever I was working on.
  11. And suddenly(!!!) someone reaches their arms over my shoulders and types on the keyboard and whispers in my ear.
  12. What does this person whisper???
  13. "It's me, Stephen."
  14. AND I KNEW IT WAS COLBERT.
  15. I WATCHED THE REPORT EVERY NIGHT.
  16. I woke up after that.
  17. But since then, and forever and always, I will find Colbert more than a satirical newscaster.
  18. He will always be the person to blatantly break my personal space boundaries.
  19. He will always be my dream man.
  20. He will always be the person to type on my computer's keyboard without rhyme or reason.
  21. This gif isn't relevant to my dream, as Jon Stewart wasn't in it, but I am adding it because they are both handsome.
