  2. The only rule is that it has to be available on Audible.

  7. The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz
Gina Rodriquez recommended this book on her twitter about how to keep other people's unhappiness from bringing you down. And your unhappiness from bringing others down. It's really great and super positive.

  8. Americanah
Such a tiny possibility you haven't read this, but I can't NOT suggest it.

  9. Someday, Someday Maybe by Lauren Graham
This is my best pick of all my suggestions because its a book about a girl in her 20s making it on her own, but she is super close to her dad. It's almost a father daughter story. Plus its just so good. I read it twice.

  11. You might have noticed the movie that came out recently but the book it was made from is amazing. Much of it is in the voice of a child and it's so intense. It's about a woman who was kidnapped and lives in this guy's shed, and she has a child in there.

  12. The Warmth of Other Suns
This book is so "on brand" for my dad and me, we both bought it for each other for Christmas. It's about America though, may bore you since you are from a place with more than 400 years of stories to tell.

  13. The Harry Potter series
Usually with audible you get one "free" book credit per month and it took be about that long if not longer to listen to each of these so I used each monthly credit for the next book!
