EVERYTHING I TOUCH DIES

Plants I have loved and lost.
  1. The fact that a plant that can survive under the harshest conditions has withered under my care says a lot about me, I think. But I soldiered on.
  2. My officemate, Lester, gave me a tiny pot of plants for Christmas, which I collectively named Lester. I once caused some confusion in the office when I yelled, "Lester's dying!"
I know the plant looks healthy now, but the current greens were replanted by someone at work.
  3. Spike, love of my life. The man who sold her to me promised I could basically ignore her and she wouldn't die. That man is a liar.
