#TBT Highlights From The @list Show at The Wiltern Last Week

The best part about the @list show was that so much money was raised for @826LA! Here are some of my favorite moments.
  1. 1.
    The Wiltern marquee!
Love this walking up to this place and seeing the amazing architecture!
  2. 2.
    Marveling at the Wiltern interior!
    Gorgeous.
  3. 3.
Los Mariachi Jaguares from Mendez High
They opened the show with their fantastic music ¡EN ESPAÑOL! ¡Que lindo! Such a talented group.
  4. 4.
    Keegan Michael Key
Reading this list by @PaulScheer : Attention Screenwriters! Free dialogue you can use in your action movie. I told Paul about this when I saw him at LA Film Fest and let him know how HILARIOUS it was!

    Bob Odenkirk
  6. 6.
The Anti Flirt Club Rules read by Kristen Schaal
Kristen brought this silly list from the 20s ALIVE!
  7. 7.
    Maria Bello
A powerful reading of #TryBeatingMeLightly by Fahhad Rajper
  8. 8.
Hearing Student Work from @826LA read by Al Madrigal
Original lists written by students and read by Al Madrigal. I loved "How To Kiss a Boy" and "How to Avoid Awkward Moments"!

    Catherine Keener
Showed us some cool illustrations by 826LA kids and read the fascinating An Enumeration of Northern European Kings of Yore.
  10. 10.
    Best Coast
Loved their chill sound! Two guitars and beautiful echoing vocals!
  11. 11.
My moment of panic which soon turned into happiness!
Someone bid $12,000 for @bjnovak to come read at their kid's birthday party. When they called the number of the bidder, for a split second I thought they said my number. I nearly jumped out of my seat ready to explain that there'd been a mistake 'cuz I'm a teacher and that's just not in my budget. Turns out the number was 103, not 133. Total happiness for 826LA, though! They raised so much money for their amazing students. I will be volunteering for them and am looking forward to it!
