SONGS I SHOULD ADD TO MY ONE GINORMOUS SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

I need more tunes. Please help. Everything I listen to was written at least twenty years ago.

  5. ELBOW

  6. Viva Voce
As I've said before elsewhere, I'm still devastated that they broke up. This is my favorite album of theirs - https://open.spotify.com/album/01tkyLSq1WAZZlsuL09SSQ - but also check out their first two. "Brightest Part Of Everyone" is the song that got me into them.

  8. Spoon as well. Anything from Girls Can Tell on.
This is their latest - https://open.spotify.com/album/55TZx6GWm1hlEbRgkGRjma but don't sleep on "My Mathematical Mind" from the glorious Gimme Fiction - https://open.spotify.com/track/1pzkEbCMJFjkjApUdb0VMB

  9. Kishi Bashi!
His two studio albums are both great. Haunting, interesting, fun. This is his first full-length: https://open.spotify.com/album/1KqRTsqsAE9DC2M7jqDQec

  10. Low is one of my favorites of all time, but I couldn't think of where to start.
This is the last song from their new album - https://open.spotify.com/track/0degnGWbi1cQVAUQ7uG5RA

  11. Little Joy is only 8 years old ;). Love this album, frequent listen: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0aLsJXIaJ6MMCZIzaGpMaX

  12. Tame Impala
Best described as John Lennon singing for The Flaming Lips, their latest album kinda throws that out the window, just a bit. Here's the opening track, but also check out the slinky "Cause I'm A Man." https://open.spotify.com/track/2X485T9Z5Ly0xyaghN73ed

  13. Sloan!
So many great songs. This is one of the newer ones that I put on all the mixes - https://open.spotify.com/track/7Hm8uuCvl2bU4nDOFeIbGd

  14. "Cosmetics" by Diamond Rugs was a big album for me in 2015, and I suggest it wholeheartedly for you in 2016!

  15. Oh, and if you have any interest in ELO, listen to this song and album immediately.
    Suggested by   @WSPR
  16. Transviolet EP by Transviolet
There's only 4 songs. If you like LDR or similar female vocalists then you'll most likely enjoy tracks 2,3,4. Track 1 is hit or miss with no reliable comps, if you like it it'll stick with you and you'll be singing it in your head for days. If you don't like it, it'll stick with you and you'll be cursing my name, in your head, for days.

  18. Clutch - Earth Rocker. The entire album is 💥💥💥

  19. Jessie Baylin's album "Dark Place"
It's modern but with a throwback vibe. http://www.jessiebaylin.com/bio/

  20. All the Leon Bridges, Cage The Elephant, and Madison King
