1. Visited the Roald Dahl Museum

    It's about a 40 minute train ride outside London. Dahl had a very interesting life, and of course made a lot of interesting work. His most productive writing years were the decades in which he worked in a shed in the garden of his country house, from 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm every day. The shed is here intact and it's cool to see. His gravesite is about a ten minute walk up the road.
  2. Saw a tech rehearsal for Sweeney Todd

    My friend Emma Thompson (you heard me right, motherfuckers!!!) is starring in Sweeney Todd but it doesn't start till Monday. I got to watch a tech rehearsal. Theater in London is really grand in scale and I enjoyed it a lot.
