THINGS I'VE DONE WHILE WORKING OVERNIGHT SHIFTS AT THE CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION

Post-secondary education is my main job. But I sometimes present and edit the hourly news bulletins on CBC Radio, Canada's public radio station, in Toronto.
  1. Develop an unhealthy addiction to "Pure Shores" by All Saints
  2. Watch a pirated copy of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part I
  3. Play mini golf around the fourth floor with the resources manager and two associate producer/technicians
  4. Nap between newscasts
  5. Edit stories produced by reporters in the regions (aka not Toronto)
  6. Tweet headlines every hour on the hour
  7. Eat strange yet tasty derivations of Aero chocolate bars
  8. Lament my need to work overnight shifts to feed my family
  9. Reconnect with people I knew in high school over social media
