FIVE FOUNDING FATHERS FEATURES I CONSUMED THIS YEAR

It's been a couple of good years for this material. I'm a sucker for a tri-corner hat and the occasional powdered wig.
  1. Hamilton Original Broadway soundtrack
My household is obsessed with this--we are hoping to go see the play on Broadway later this year.
  2. The Adams Chronicles TV Series
1976 PBS special now on DVD. Slow-paced (think Upstairs Downstairs not Downton Abbey)
  3. 1776 Novel by David McCullough
Amazing page-turner, considering we all know the outcome. From the author of John Adams.
  4. Sons of Liberty TV Series
Compelling three part mini series from the history channel that felt more like a super hero origin than historical teleplay.
  5. 1776 the musical
Musical by Peter Stone. Perhaps corny and dated but still a joy to behold and worth seeking out if only to celebrate the 4th of July.
