List Prompt: Recurring Themes From My Dreams That Might Mean Something

Get yer list prompts!: List prompts for this week @What2List
  1. Teeth
I'm constantly losing them, pulling them out, having them melt and run down my throat. I've had these dreams consistently throughout my entire life, and it's the one of the few dreams I wake from feeling shaken. Obviously I'm very, very terrified of something awful happening to my teeth.
  2. Death & being murdered
Like my teeth dreams, I consistently have dreams where I'm attempting to outrun someone trying to murder me, only to ultimately be murdered. It could mean I'm scared of death, it could mean I'm scared of being killed. It could also mean I've watched far too much Forensic Files since I was a kid.
  3. Drowning
The ocean is terrifying, and I say this as someone who grew up in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
  4. Losing my voice / being overlooked & ignored
You know that scene in Titanic where Rose tells Jack, "And all the while I feel like I’m standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one even looks up"? Well, I have a dream quite often where I am in the same predicament as Rose, particularly when my parents are also in the dream. They don't hear me when I'm screaming, and I physically don't have a voice. I think it represents how I feel about my relationship with my parents.
