Do you agree? Comment and let me know what order you would put them in!
  1. 1.
    "AHS: Asylum" (season 2)
My favorite for so many reasons -- mainly Zachary Quinto as the diabolical Dr. Oliver Thredson. He was the best villain this show has had so far! Jessica Lange (Sister Jude), Sarah Paulson (Lana Winters), and Lily Rabe (Sister Mary Eunice) also put on superb performances. In general I thought all of the characters were more thoughtfully developed during this season, and there were some very interesting storylines.
  2. 2.
    "AHS: Freak Show" (season 4)
This was another really well-developed season with some great characters! Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch) was nightmarish, yet when we learned his backstory it was hard not to take pity on him. Finn Wittrock, as the spoiled man-child Dandy, put on the performance of the season and he deserved more recognition for what I believe was his breakout role.
  3. 3.
    "AHS: Hotel" (season 5)
It was hard to decide where to put this season; they are all so good! I really loved a lot of the characters this season, especially Liz Taylor (Denis O'Hare in his best role yet), The Countess (Lady Gaga), and James P. March (Evan Peters). I enjoyed seeing many actors from past seasons appearing in guest spots. A couple of the side plots were not very interesting, but the main plot lines were excellent and kept me watching week after week!

Brian goes to California to escort Stewie home from his visit with his grandparents, but the dog's drinking binge results in the two travelers losing their luggage and tickets, prompting them to jump trains and trucks all the way back to Rhode Island.
  3. 3. "Family Guy Viewer Mail #1" (S3:E21)
Viewer mail inspires three irreverent tales in which Peter becomes a gelatinous blob, the Griffins develop superhuman abilities, and young Peter and Lois live in a warped "Little Rascals"-type alternate reality.
