11 Video Games That I Will Never Stop Playing

  1. 1.
    Star Wars Battlefront (PS2)
I'm talking about the original two games here. I love capturing the command posts and taking over the galaxy on galactic conquests. Also the Rise of the Empire campaign on the second game was really well done and I've played it several times. I include both of these games because they both have their pros and cons, and of course different maps.
  2. 2.
    Crazy Taxi
I first played this game at an arcade and loved it so much that I went and bought it for my PlayStation 2. I admit that I'm not that great at it but I still play it from time to time. Also I find the characters to be quite ridiculous, making the game more enjoyable.
  3. 3.
    Kingdom Hearts Franchise
I don't remember why but for some reason I played Kingdom Hearts 2 first and I immediately fell in love with the character Roxas. Unfortunately we don't get to play as Roxas for long but we still see bits and pieces of his storyline throughout the game. I went on to the play the rest of the games in the franchise and let's just say that I'm a huge fan(girl). Can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 3!
  4. 4.
    Kirby Air Ride
This game is just fun to play with friends and run around in. I admit that it has been awhile since I've played it, and it's not easily accessible for me since I don't own any Nintendo consoles. However I still have fond memories of it and I will always be up for some Kirby.
  5. 5.
    Super Smash Bros Melee
For those of you who've been living under a rock, Super Smash Bros Melee is a game that allows you the fight against all your favorite Nintendo characters. I think that itself explains the hype for the game. My friends and I tend to play tournaments against each other and it never gets old.
  6. 6.
    Pikmin 2
I was first introduced to this game in high school by my friend, and I don't know how I didn't know about the game sooner. I really enjoy the versus gameplay where you play against your friend. I have to say my friend and I are absolutely merciless against each other and sometimes we just frantically throw pikmin.
  7. 7.
The Assassin's Creed Games (well some of them...)
The same friend that introduced me to Pikmin 2 also showed me the very first Assassin's Creed game. I loved jumping from rooftop to rooftop and quietly assassinating my enemies. I have to say that my favorite storyline is the first two games with Ezio. However gameplay-wise the best is Black Flag. Unfortunately this is where the franchise peaked and the games haven't really improved since then. However my inner fangirl keeps buying these games in hopes that they will get better.
  8. 8.
    Roller Coaster Tycoon
I know the game doesn't have the best graphics, but I love creating my own theme park empire. And we all know that our psychotic side likes to make a roller coaster that ends up crashing or flying into a lake from time to time.
  9. 9.
    The Sims 3
I have a feeling that I might get judged for this, but my inner control freak loves this game. It was a huge improvement from The Sims 2 because you can explore the town without a bunch of loading screens and there is a lot more creative freedom. The game gives hundreds, if not thousands of options for creating custom Sims and building lots. Of course there's the part where you can either live vicariously through your Sims or torture them by making their lives absolutely miserable.
  10. 10.
    Plague, Inc.
Played this game when it was only available on the Google Play Store and gladly forked over my money when it became available on Steam. The computer version is much easier to navigate and I love conquering the world with diseases that I named "asskicker". This game is very simplistic due to it only having a few different screens, but surprisingly addictive. You can also upgrade your disease with abilities, symptoms and transmissions.
  11. 11.
    Mario Kart
Who doesn't love a round of Mario Kart? The game is great to play with friends, even the ones that don't enjoy video games. No matter how many pixels each Mario Kart game has had, I still have a blast playing it. Although I have noticed that this game can bring out the worst in people, so be prepared to lose some friends.
