THINGS I ACCOMPLISHED IN 2015

Requested by the lovely @amandataylor88. I feel so accomplished right now.

    I worked abroad πŸ‡«πŸ‡·
I finished up a work contract doing marketing for a chain of bookstores near Bordeaux, France.
  2. β€’
I went to the comic book festival in Angouleme
I almost cried when I went to the Calvin and Hobbes exhibit.
  3. β€’
I cut off most of my hair and dyed it red πŸ’‡πŸΌ
Regretted it later but liked it for a while.
  4. β€’
I took a road trip by myself πŸš•
I drove from MΓ©rignac to Normandie and saw all the WWII memorials as well as Mont-Saint-Michel. I listened to 1970s country western the whole time. I will forever associate Willie Nelson with the French Norman countryside.
  5. β€’
Went to Paris for a friend's birthday and played tour guide to a group of Americans teaching Italian
Also accidentally got the birthday boy a full body lap dance on stage by taking him to a showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Whoops.
  6. β€’
I went to Istanbul by myself
And it was AMAZING. I saw the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and whirling dervishes and the Grand Bazaar and the Basilica Cisterns and all the things. I made friends with a carpet seller in the bazaar and he bought me lunch. I went to the Turkish baths and sweated topless with strange women. I also discovered that I really really like Turkish Delight.

I made new friends for life πŸ‘«
I met Barbie and Carlos in France and they are stuck with me now. A lovely trilingual married couple from America I met at church in France. We took trips and naps together. They let me crash their Valentine's Day and we had homemade pad thai, madeleines, and chocolate mousse and then went to a slam poetry show in French.

I walked on Europe's largest sand dune 🏜
    It's windy as heck.
  9. β€’
I went to Spain for the first time and the second time.
Spent a short weekend in San SebastiÑn and a long one in Barcelona. I will never forget being bathed in color in the Sagrada Familia. 🌈
  10. β€’
I got sick of the red hair and went the ombrΓ© route πŸ’‡πŸΌ
  11. β€’
Watched both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Twin Peaks in their entirety
And was thusly scarred for life.
  12. β€’
I took a road trip with my sister for the first time πŸš™
We drove to Myrtle Beach and met up with my parents at the beach.
  13. β€’
I worked as an extra on the show "Nashville" 🎸
You can see the back of my head once playing a Highway 65 employee. I worked in a bunch of other episodes but this is the only one you can tell I'm there, really.
  14. β€’
I drove to Atlanta with a girl I met doing "Nashville" to be in "Neighbors 2" 🎬
Not allowed to say anything about it really, but Zac Efron totally touched my arm by accident at one point and it made my life. Seth Rogan also bumped into me but that was less titillating.
  15. β€’
I won a contest where I got to make a custom radio station for accuradio. 🎧
It's a couple hundred rockabilly songs called "Brooke's Rockabilly Party" (I didn't choose the name so don't judge) and you can listen to it on accuradio.com.
  16. β€’
I got a paid internship in San Francisco
I got it and had to be out there in a matter of 2.5 weeks! 😱
  17. β€’
