All types of women experience body shaming of some sort. And all women are programmed to be hyper conscious of their bodies in ways men are not. It's one of those fun just women things! However-- we live in a extreme diet culture that encourages women to be pre-pubescent levels of skinny. Also, skinny bodies are drastically over represented (and therefore celebrated) in all types of media. If you don't believe these two points please go look at any magazine. So, no, skinny shaming is not real.

If you think this is real then you deeply misunderstand the second part of this phrase (the RACISM part). Also, my fellow white people, have you truly truly experienced someone mistrusting you or doubting you or degrading you because you are white? I haven't once in 22 years of life.

Again- sexism, like racism, is based on an unequal power structure. So women cannot be systemically oppressive to men.πŸ’πŸΌ
