  14. The Wallcreeper by Nell Zink
So funny so crazy. I loved this one. The New Yorker profile of her is worth a read.

  16. A Place of Greater Safety
A-maze-ing. I liked it better than Wolf Hall.

  17. Barbara the Slut by Lauren Holmes
Revelatory, extremely dry debut short story collection. Funniest women I've read in a long time.

  18. The Book of Strange New Things by Michael Faber

  19. The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert
I know, it's the Eat Pray Love lady. BUT! This book is incredible and if you liked Euphoria you should give it a chance.

  20. Arcadia by Lauren Groff
Also her new book is coming out in the fall and it's AMAZING

  21. H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald
About the author obsessively raising a goshawk to deal with the death of her dad, intertwined with bits about T.H. White raising a goshawk (and sucking at it). This book is beautiful.
