Hey thanks @BWN_7 for the suggestion
  1. There was one time back in the summer of 2003, just a few months after my Grandad had died.
  2. There was a thunderstorm, which my family loves
  3. So me and my mom, dad, sister, and brother were sitting on lawn chairs we hauled into the garage to watch the lightening
  4. My mom mentioned how my Grandad had been an avid bowler, so the whole "thunder is just God bowling in heaven" became so much more meaningful
  5. I remember there being a moment where we shared a few stories about him, then there was a silence that wasn't a grieving silence, but a more celebration-of-life silence
  6. I was only 9 at the time, but I remember feeling just an overall sense of peace after the tumult of losing a grandparent
  7. And then the rain lightened up
  8. And a rainbow came out
  9. And I remember dancing in the light drizzle with my sister and brother
