THINGS TO DO YOUR SECOND TIME IN PARIS ➕OPEN LIST REQUEST➕

I'm going to be in Paris from 4/7-4/12. I went for a week on a high school exchange in 2004 and saw most of the basic bitch attractions. What should I do this time? Bonus points for gay stuff.
  1. Feed me suggestions, ListApp!
  2. Also, I was a teenage baby last time I went, anything that's basic that I wouldn't have been able to do at 16 is also welcome!
  3. Lunch at Castiglione (steak tartar) and then window shop St Honore. Go to Colette.

  4. If you missed Jeff Koons in NYC see it at the Pompidou. Great place for dinner across the street called Le Bulldogue.

  5. Le Marais
I haven't been to Paris in years but I'm pretty sure Le Marais is still gay (after the sun goes down and the tourists leave) .

  6. Parc des Buttes-Chaumont
In the 20th. Off the tourist circuit and totally different perspective of the city. From there walk to rue Oberkampf for drinks, and/or pere lachaise if you didn't already do that on your first trip.

  7. Le Relais de Venise
Amazing entrecôte. Arrive at ~6:30 to avoid the lines. Not to overhype, but this will be one of the best meals of your life.

  8. The Marais
The Marais is still gay, definitely hit it up at night for that scene. During the day, it's great if you want to do shopping - boutique or vintage - or want falafel. They've recently redone BHV (big department store across from Hôtel de Ville), it's fun to walk around.

  9. Shakespeare and Company
An old bookstore that houses texts written in English. Visit if you're in the mood to fall back in love with reading. Across from Notre Dame.

  10. The Picasso Museum
Just reopened. Im pretty sure that you can buy tickets online to skip the line. One of the best museums that I've ever been to. Also in the Marais.

  11. Oberkampf for drinks
This was already mentioned, but it shouldn't be breezed over.

Buy a ticket to walk around the building. Entrance is a little hidden, around the left side. This is my happy place.

  22. The shop Merci, in the marais, is the best shop in all of paris. Home stuff, clothes stuff and a great restaurant where they serve food from the vegetable garden out back.
