I really like reading and am usually pretty good at holding myself accountable to not buying a book until I finish a book. I mostly purchase books on my Kindle. Both of those things have been out the window recently.
  1. Robert Galbraith, Career of Evil
    7563586e b0bb 4970 84da bef040ab2102
The 3rd book in JK Rowling's mystery series. Level of excitement is high.
  2. Lauren Groff, Fates and Furies
    1bec3a36 e3bc 40e6 847f 47f8710fad59
I joined a book of the month club and this was my first pick. Have yet to read.
  3. Jessica Knoll, Luckiest Girl Alive
    65ff6f21 31e1 451e a7a2 ff59ade92f77
I was high on pain killers and anti-anxiety drugs after my first 4 mole excisions and totally conned my poor mother into buying me books at the hospital. Sorry, mom. You're welcome, Northwestern Hospital book store.
  4. Jojo Moyes, After You
    546850d9 8316 4606 866e 719e4c72cff7
Jojo is the new Jodi Picoult in my life. Her books are the kind I read in line at Starbucks and while my computer is starting up at work. Again, thanks mom.
  5. Jonathan Franzen, Purity

Unfortunately I've been too busy reading less high brow selections (see above) to dive into this one. Another gift from mom.
  6. Bill Bryson, A Walk in the Woods
    D48c8052 0fe1 4cca af48 7836cc405669
Because I can't see a movie that started as a book without reading it first. And I was chased by a bear in Montana in August.
