After you graduate, land a job, and move to the big city what are some non creepy ways on making friends sans play dates/dorms? Lookin for #protips #askingforafriend
  1. Yoga
I swear this is the only thing people ever say on the topic- but when do you break the ice? During pre yoga class meditation? When everyone is in the locker room all zen-ed out? And an underlying question, what if you suck at yoga?
  2. Intramural Sports
Have not personally attempted this, but there are often leagues for betting levels of actual athletic skill/interest in day-drinking

  3. Work
Seek out the cool peeps, avoid the crazies!

  4. A book club
I found mine through, which is a good option for all different types of groups!

  5. Take a class (improv, language, dance, etc.)

  6. Get involved in your local church/temple/mosque/etc., if that's your thing
(Not my thing, but it has worked for friends)

  7. Weekend volunteering
Forced group interaction with people who have some sort of shared interest!

  8. Say yes to every invitation. No excuses.
Even if you only know one person. Even if it's awkward. Even if it's for a thing/band/exhibit you know nothing and care nothing about. For a month straight, go to every single thing you get invited to.
