#tv2016 part 2

I've got 27 shows and you ain't one.
  1. 1.
(‪s5) - For the second straight year it tops my list. I cannot speak high enough praises for this absolutely perfect comedy.‬
  2. 2.
    Better Call Saul
‪(s2) - The tragedy of Jimmy McGill continues and it is magnificent. Continues to surprise and impress.‬
  3. 3.
    Silicon Valley
(‪‪s3) - Had me laughing out loud all the dang time! Every character just slays me. No weak link. Brilliant comedy.‬
  4. 4.
    The Americans
(‪s4) - Powerful in every aspect. Storylines, acting, dialogue, secondary characters. Everything firing on point.‬
  5. 5.
    Last Man on Earth
(‪s2/3) - No reason this show should work as well as it does; it's all thanks to the commitment by @OrvilleIV.‬
  6. 6.
    Bojack Horseman
(‪s3) - You can tell I like silly, absurdist comedy and this show is all of that and more. It's not for everyone.‬
  7. 7.
    The Grinder
(‪s1) - Screw all of you for not watching and FOX for cancelling it. Keeping this on my list when I normally wouldn't.‬
  8. 8.
    The Good Place
(‪s1) - I think @KenTremendous just gets me. Strong writing (head writer @meganamram) and acting all around.‬
  9. 9.
    Stranger Things
(‪s1) - The surprise, sleeper hit of the year. Hit all the right notes and is poised for a strong continuation. ‬
  10. 10.
    House of Cards
(‪s4) - Very strong bounce back year. It is also suddenly all too frightening. Have no clue where it goes next‬.
  11. 11.
(‪s4/5) - I would have been good if this were the last season. It's not headed that way. But it's still pretty good‬.
  12. 12.
    The Flash
‪(s2/3) - Get this: another speedster is the main season villain! GASP! I still enjoy the characters and the stories.‬
  13. 13.
    The Walking Dead
(‪s6/7) - I'm thinking this Negan/Saviors storyline works better in the comics. Kind of weak on the screen.‬
  14. 14.
    The Good Wife
(‪s7) - Another show to end its run this year. Not my favorite ending but the show was definitely a good one.‬
  15. 15.
    New Girl
(‪s5/6) - After landing last on this list for the last two years, it has had a mini resurgence. I am enjoying it again.‬
  16. 16.
    The Mindy Project
(‪s4/5) - Would be easier to watch if @maryplautz wasn't talking about Mindy's lips all the dang time.‬
  17. 17.
    Brooklyn 99
(‪S3/4) - I still enjoy this show, but it doesn't really surprise me with its comedy. Andre Braugher kills it though.‬
  18. 18.
(‪s41/42) - Given some of the most divisive material to work with ever SNL has really stepped up and back into the spotlight.‬
  19. 19.
    Fear the Walking Dead
(‪s2) - Probably 25 minutes of plot progress in the whole season. I don't care about one single character.‬
  20. 20.
(‪s1/2) - Slowly finding itself. The lead is fantastic and the switch to CW should allow for some more creativity.‬
  21. 21.
(‪s4/5) - The strength continues to be the two leads amidst absurdly complex crime scenarios. On its last legs.‬
  22. 22.
    Orphan Black
(‪s4) - Can anyone follow the plot on this show anymore? Maybe I should rewatch before the upcoming final season‬.
  23. 23.
    Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
    (‪s2) - I don't get it. I really don't. It did end stronger than it started, though.‬
  24. 24.
    Modern Family
(‪s7/8) - What less can be said about this show? This is more on me, the viewer, at this point. ‬
  25. 25.
    Downton Abbey
‪(s6) - An ignominious end to a once very impressive show. Already forgot most of what happened.‬
  26. 26.
    Designated Survivor
(‪s1) - Could be better, maybe should be better, but it's pretty uninspired. Might be on the chopping block.‬
  27. 27.
    DC's Legends of Tomorrow
‪(s1/2) - Not a lot to like about this expansion of the CW DC Universe. Easy choice for last on my list.‬
