I found a playlist on Apple Music by Buzz Aldrin inspired by space, the moon, the Earth and Mars. This is in a similar vein. What do you listen to watching the stars and moon and wanting to be out there?
  1. Elton John - Rocket Man
I remember seeing the brilliant Paul & Storm cover this live as a tribute to Neil Armstrong. Still gives me chills.
  2. Frank Sinatra - Fly Me To The Moon
Buzz Aldrin considers this his theme song. I think he has the right credentials. He was on the moon once. He'll tell you the story at any opportunity.
  3. David Bowie - Starman
I love that they included this in the soundtrack to The Martian.
  4. The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun
The sun is totally a star and I like The Beatles. Especially George songs.
  5. Babylon Zoo - Spaceman
I was obsessed with this song as a teenager.
  6. Quad City DJ's - Space Jam
So so dumb but so good.
  7. Europe - The Final Countdown
    How could I not?
  8. David Bowie - Space Oddity
Also covered by a man who actually lived in space, Commander Chris Hadfield.
  9. Gustav Holst - The Planets : Mars
The entire The Planets suite is gorgeous but I have a special spot for Mars as it was the theme music for one of my favourite games, Mega-lo-mania for the Amiga.
  10. The Steve Miller Band - Space Cowboy
