I'll start..
  1. β€’
We stay in and invite our friends..none of this nonsense!
  2. β€’
    There will BUBBLES!
And they will flow. Mine will likely be pink!
  3. β€’
    And a taco bar!
But we're smoking a few chickens, instead!
  4. β€’
    Of course, cheese.
I mean, who has a party without cheese?! Apologies to you lactose-intolerants😬
  5. β€’
    There will be games..
Ha, not THIS one. Though it could be fun, I'd like my still erect Christmas tree to stay that way!
  6. β€’
    More like these..
This game is SO GREAT, people!

My plans are so lame. It's my finest wish to wash all my bedding and finally be over my cold. I'll probably be asleep by midnight. πŸ‘΅πŸΌπŸ™ˆ

Party of two! (Meet my husband, Rick)
My husband and I will be cozy at home, watching TV or a movie and having some snacks (yes, there will be cheese). I have some Wilson Creek almond champagne chilling. My husband may go to bed before midnight, but we'll still share a Happy New Year kiss at midnight. If he's totally out, I'll hug the cat. 🍾πŸ₯‚

Heading to a friend's house to watch football and eat smoked meats. They never stay up until midnight, so we will just head home and try to find something on Netflix we can agree on before going to bed... AND I CANNOT WAIT! πŸŽ‰

Going out with at least one other couple to see a local band.
Seriously? 80's hits?!? Oh. My. God. (Didn't know until just now 😝) There is not enough champagne in the world to salvage this New Years Eve.πŸ™„πŸ˜’πŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸ˜΅

We have always gone to the same friends' house with a bunch of other couples (and their kids, where applicable). Dinner and dessert are potluck, there is a small hoard of kids running underfoot, and we all sleep over, since it's a pretty far drive for all involved and no one is in any shape to drive home.
This year, however, I will be home with a sick little boy, while my husband takes my daughter with him to the party. She looks forward to it so much. I'm disappointed but determined not to throw myself a pity party.

Having somewhere between 3 and 13 friends over for low-key snacks and board games and probably some Mario Kart. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ Since people are apparently not super into RSVP-ing, I bought snacks we really like in case there are lots of leftovers. πŸ˜‹πŸ™‚

This NYE my husband, dog, and I will be home. Lots of games, margaritas, guacamole, and shrimp tacos. He'll probably pass out early, but I'll set an alarm to be sure we kiss at midnight 😘
    Stay safe, Listers! πŸ’žπŸ’•πŸΎπŸ₯‚πŸ»πŸΉ

Going to the guy I'm dating's parents' house about an hour away in ~*the woods*~ with his/my friends for what is apparently a yearly New Year's Eve tradition to go have a party there (this is SO uncomfortable and off brand for me I always stay home and kids my cat at midnight) so 2017 year of yes?? (Probably not, but y'know, start ambitious)

Having dinner with my grandparents and my father, then going to sleep.
Saddest plan ever. I don't even have the option of getting drunk. Birthdays and New Year's Eves are going to be the death of me.

We always stay in with the kiddos. This year we're just doing snacks (cocktail weenies in BBQ sauce, ham, pickle and cream cheese roll-ups, shrimp cocktail, and brownies) and I got noisemakers for midnight if any of us make it that long still awake. πŸŽ‰
