WACKY WEDNESDAY

A collection of my thoughts, findings, and anything I find interesting throughout the week, posted every Wednesday. Named after the Dr. Seuss book. Also just kind of a wacky guy.
  1. What I'm reading: The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks. A friend suggested this book to me, so I'm taking the leap and trusting his recommendation. Always interested in ways to improve myself, and I thought it would be appropriate to start the new year with this book.
  2. Small project: Designing a dream home. I've loved British colonial design for some time, but after visiting Hong Kong and seeing examples up close, I was inspired by the architecture, open floor plan, and large patios. So I decided to sketch out a floor plan.
I stole this picture from Google Images, but my dream home would look similar to this. 6 beds, 4 baths, including the basement and a study. Outdoor features would include a pool, tennis court, and a large deck. If I could choose anywhere in the world to put it: Plaskett, CA.
  3. What I'm watching: Masters of None on Netflix. This show is too real for the first wave of 'millennials' and possibly the funniest TV show I've ever seen.
  4. Documentary(s): I have to mention two because both were totally captivating, in my opinion: 1. 'Man On Wire.' A Dutch man goes on an epic quest to attempt to tightrope across the twin towers of New York. 2. 'The Imposter.' A Texas teen goes missing only to be found in Spain three years later, and brought back as a 23 year old European man.
