ALLITERATIVE PAIRS OF WORDS

Seem to remember from university that the recurrence of alliterative pairs of words in English comes from Anglo Saxon alliterative poetry. I like them anyhow. Often one or both of the words is now obsolete (wrack?!) Can anyone think of any others?
  1. Hale and hearty
  2. Wrack and ruin
  3. Kith and kin
  4. Spick and span
  5. Vim and vigour
  6. Ride roughshod
