While my taste may suggest I'm stuck in the 90s (the 1890s), I'm admittedly a classical musician by trade but a lover of many a genre and feel lucky to work at a company where music discovery is our bidness.
  1. Sibelius, Symphonies 5 & 6
    Haunting, momentous, beautiful, strange...
  2. Kiesza
  3. Tove Lo
  4. Louis Andriessen (modern Dutch classical composer)
  5. Cliff Martinez (film composer extraordinaire)
  6. Thomas Newman (another incredible film scorer)
  7. Debussy, Pelleas & Melisande (his only opera, and what a beauty)
  8. Erykah Badu
  9. John Coltrane (preferably on tenor but I'll entertain the occasional soprano sax chart)
  10. Sondheim (particularly his lesser-known stuff)
  11. Bahamadia
