Mom and Dad are coming to town next week. They've been here before but I don't know how much stuff they've actually taken in. They are also NYC snobs and think LA is mostly wasteland. Any suggestions on nice good things to do or see for warm fam times?
  1. The Broad Museum
Unless they hate contemporary art, then I'd go with the Getty Center (if they like museums & art in general I'd do both!). I'm pretty sure Broad reservations are gone for the year, but you can get in via the onsite ticket line. We went on Veterans' Day & had to wait 2.5 hours, but were also told that was super unusual & the line is usually much shorter. Even with the long wait, it was totally worth it.

  2. Huntington Library and Gardens
The grounds are gorgeous and the artwork is nice too, plus there's a tea room, which makes for a nice little afternoon non-alcoholic, parent-friendly warm up.
