  1. no exaggeration about the divinity of authentic New York pizza
    and bagels
  2. people will not slow down for you on the highway when you're trying to merge
  3. a convenience store can stand alone and is not always coupled with a gas station
  4. you can buy alcohol whenever you want ! even on Sundays !

  5. "no" without an explanation is an acceptable answer
    I have literally never had someone tell me straight up "no" without explaining themselves or offering an alternative. extremely odd
  6. shouting "Let's go Mets!" in public places is not unusual
  7. COLD
    outside AND inside
