Things I Wonder On Any Given Day, vol.21.

  1. 1.
The new chip reader sound. It must change to an uplifting, happy 'ding' to let you know your payment was accepted rather than an awful, depths-of-hell, bank-account-barely-covered-this-payment-for-cereal-and-frozen-pizza sound, asking you to remove your card.
  2. 2.
That brushing your teeth before a cleaning at the dentist is like getting a haircut before a haircut.
  3. 3.
How doctors have their own 'practice'... Can we find a new word to use? I don't like the sound of a doctor still 'practicing' on me. Because, in turn, 'malpractice' sounds too forgiving.
  4. 4.
How many homeowners just put the blue ADT sign in the front yard without the actual security system.
  5. 5.
How everyone has the time to watch the majority of shows on cable, Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Amazon and Hulu.
  6. 6.
What the correct pronunciation is? Help me. Is it "Q"-pon or "Coo"-pon?
  7. 7.
When people tell me "I beg your pardon." And I'm like... Relax, I'm not King Joffrey.
  8. 8.
When someone is referred to as a "night owl" - that sounds a little redundant to me because I've never seen or heard an owl during the day. So if someone is always up late at night, just straight up call that person an owl.
  9. 9.
If Canada has college football games...
  10. 10.
That in my life experiences, "too good to be true" applies to 80% of scenarios and "too bad to be true" applies to maybe 5 to 6% of scenarios.
  11. 11.
How absolutely enthralled I am of pre-1700AD mapmakers. What skill.
  12. 12.
What exactly P. Diddy feels like when he wakes up in the morning... as Ke$ha declares.
  13. 13.
Be kind. Be good. Or be kinda good. Ciao.
