If you're like me, you probably freak out after watching horror movies or even just seeing/remembering something scary. This is a few of the things I do to keep myself from losing sleep:
- •Watch something you used to watch as a kidTrust me, it truly helps - when I get scared, I watch anything that's on Discovery Kids or Nickelodeon Jr. and it never fails to calm me down. (which is a hard thing to happen)
- •Jam out loudTHIS IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE ITEM ON THIS LIST. If you're home alone, just turn up an exciting song on and DANCE UR FEARS AWAY. If you're not home alone/it's too late at night, just put on your headphones and dance hectically anyway. (At the end of the song you'll be so tired you won't care about ur fears anymore)
- •Face your fears! As terrifying as it sounds, sometimes facing your fear so you realize nothing's going to happen is a good idea. If you're scared that a monster like The Man Who Can't Breathe (Insidious 3 is my personal fave rn) will get you, just walk to the kitchen on your own and you'll realize that nothing bad's gonna happen!!!!! Woooo!!!!! (and then get urself a midnight snack as an award for being brave/badass)
