I swear ListApp makes me sound like a paranoid neurotic freak. That is only half true.
  1. The time my partner and woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
    What the hell?!? This happened to us exactly once in our relationship. But we still bring it up. How did we end up on the other side of the bed? We went to bed STONE COLD SOBER. It was like a mundane episode of Twilight Zone or a scene from a Haruki Murakami novel. I still get chills thinking about it.
  2. The time my partner left for work without kissing me goodbye.
    He claims he didn't want to wake me. Later that morning I woke up startled with a slight ache in my heart. The entire apartment was eerily quiet as if the whole world had decided to go on vacation without me. I was off-kilter the entire day. He had since made it a point of kissing me before leaving even if I am completely knocked out.
  3. The time I rode public transit and one of my favorite ties got a mysteriously stain on it.
    I had just finished reading Haruki Murakami's Underground - a book about the 1995 Sarin gas attacks in the Tokyo subways. I panicked and immediately took the tie off, put it a ziplock bag and sealed it then jumped in the shower. Three days later, since I did not hear of any reports of mysterious fatalities in the SF MUNI, I took the tie back out and hung it up. However I'm not sure if I've worn it since...
