I like this better than New Years resolutions - also I turned 30 in August but whatever. This is my list, I do what I want (inspired by @vmacies)
  1. Plan another camping trip for the summer
    We spent a week in North Carolina this summer and it was amazing. I want to do the same, maybe in Charlottesville and head over to Washington DC?
  2. Read one real book a month
    I listen to plenty of books, but actually read one with my eyeballs
  3. Watch the rest of The Wire so @RedBeard will stop hounding me
    It's not that I don't like it, I just don't have the time!
  4. Work out at least 4 times a week
    Move yo body - you always feel better when you do
  5. Plan a summer visit with my college girlfriends
    It was so nice last year!
  6. Make a baby book for Elliot
    😐😐 worst mom award?
  7. Make the guest room look less like a huge shit pile
    Like take down the curtains that have been there since 1966 and actually throw something away. Make it a room that you don't mind having the door open too.
  8. Cook the rest of the breads from the bread bakers apprentice
    That was a fun activity, now do the rest of them!
  9. Get haircuts on the reg

  10. Eat at least one non potato vegetable a day.
    Like a leafy green, or at least a carrot.
  11. Turn basement into an actual place where we can inhabit.
    A functioning laundry room, a workout space, play area for Elliot
  12. Make sausage
  13. Drink one full Nalgene a day
  14. Try to get my students fluent in their multiplication facts
    I need to come up with a fun and motivating way for them to memorize those suckers
  15. Call my Grandma more
  16. Get bedding that I actually like for our bed - make it like a hotel room
    Also colors that match, matching lamps, pillows that everyone love
  17. Actually have a solid plan when fantasy football draft time rolls around
  18. Do the nytimes crossword enough times to justify paying the ridiculous subscription price.
    Like at least the Monday and Tuesday puzzles. And the Sunday one.
  19. Listen to Hamilton
    Heard its good
  20. Do more crafty things like what I made for my niece for Christmas

  21. Make my closet be full of only clothes and shoes that actually fit and I actually wear
  22. Try my hardest to be nice to the students who irritate me the most
  23. In regards to how I think about food, be the type of person who says "I don't eat that" rather than "I can't eat that"
    I was doing well with my mindful eating and I need to get back on track. I know all the rules, I just need to follow them
  24. Cook more with Elliot.
    It is fun to watch him learn to do things and I think it'll be good to instill a sense of confidence in the kitchen. And he can get on master chef junior
  25. Take full advantage of our COSI membership
    An awesome present from my parents - I really want to use it up!
  26. Actually read the magazines that come into my house
  27. Recycle more
  28. FaceTime more with my siblings
  29. Keep a plant alive
    I killed a cactus 🌵
  30. Keep trying to be the best I can be
