1. This week's episode features documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney
And it's one of the most interesting conversations about the shift in cinema, documentaries, and journalistic responsibilities.
  2. For the record, I'm aware BEE is a divisive figure, especially since starting the podcast. This episode is a bit more restrained and worth a listen.
I find myself in agreement with BEE maybe 50% of the time, but he gets interesting guests that rarely do podcasts or longer interviews, and it makes for a lot of interesting talk about movies, music, and pop culture circa 2016. Unfortunately; when BEE gets contrarian, or gets into his anti-PC Culture rants, he loses me.
  3. Other interesting guests/episodes: Karyn Kusama, John Carpenter, Quentin Tarantino
  4. Also, watch anything you can by Alex Gibney
Going Clear, Taxi to the Darkside, Enron: the Smartest Guys in the Room. There are MANY more and they are all captivating.
