1. Tory Lanez - LUV
Great cover chorus of a dancehall classic, but the rest of the song is shoulder shruggy. But the chorus is so good, I have spun this more times than I care to admit. Also, big ups to a rapper naming himself after a porn star. If this doesn't take appropriation to a new level, I don't know what does.
  2. Machine Gun Kelly featuring Camilla Cabello - Bad Things
Not a MGK fan, but the fact that the chorus interpolates a Fastball song - and not even their one hit wonder jam, but the attempted second hit - the way it does is catchy/cute. Big ups! Makes it worth sitting through MGK's snoozy parts.
  3. Gnash featuring Olivia O'Brien - i hate u i love u
She's got great pipes and the chorus is relatable, to just about everyone, but then dude shows up with dial tone singing and lyrics that are too clever and at the same time too boring.
  4. Hailee Steinfeld - Starving
This is probably a bad song all around, but it's still got a catchy chorus, so I listen to it on a spotify mix
