Some Random Songs I'm Obsessed With

I'm a music freak. This is a mixed bag of greats and weirdo stuff.
  1. Let it Out
Black Prairie. Current daily obsesh. Bluegrass at its finest. And every instrument and voice is perfect.
  2. Touch It
Monifah. Reminds me of when we used to go cluuuub.
  3. Sixteen Military Wives
The Decemberists. Favvies. Also the video is awesome:
  4. Silver Lining
    Rilo Kiley. Jenny Lewis!
  5. There's a Good Reason These Tables are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Figured it Out Yet
Panic at the Disco. I love all the words."tonight tonight you are, you are, a whispering campaign"
  6. I Ain't the Same
Alabama Shakes. Holy shit, everything by Alabama Shakes, tbh.
  7. Teenage Dirtbag
Wheatus. "I've got two tickets to Iron Maiden, baby."
  8. The Legend of Chavo Guerrero
The Mountain Goats. Not my favorite Mountain Goats song, but the most interesting and funny.
  9. We're Not Going to Take It
Twisted Sister. Because sometimes you just declare that no, you're not going to take it.
  10. Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Poison. *Sneaking into my brothers room to play on his CD player when he wasn't home*
  11. 99 Red Balloons
Nena. Just because it always makes you want to dance with your head bobbing side to side.
  12. Furr
Blitzen Trapper. Just the weirdo shit I love.
  13. Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise
The Avett Brothers. This song is basically everything about life. "There's a darkness upon me that's flooded in light. In the fine print that tells me what's wrong and what's right. And it comes in black and it coomes in white. And I'm frightened by those who don't see it." Perfection.
  14. Chelsea Dagger
    The Fratellis. So fun.
  15. Again
Janet Jackson. A diva-off belter from my youth.
  16. How Do You Want It
Tupac. Ridin in the jeep, hands in the air, smile on my face.
  17. June Hymn
The Decemberists. God, I love them so much. Where the lyrics and the music are of equal importance.
  18. The Mariners Revenge Song
The Decemberists (another one!) It's a weird and wonderful and epic tale of two men swallowed by a whale, but slipped through his teeth and survive in the belly weaving this tune. When performed live, the band gets eaten by a whale. Incredible.
  19. Waiting on the Bus
The Violent Femmes. The Geo Storm with @MaryLauren
  20. In An Aeroplane Over the Sea
Neutral Milk Hotel. ❤️❤️❤️ The trumpet solo.
  21. The Next Episode
Dr. Dre. Every college house party ever. La-da-da-da-da
  22. Stewball
Peter, Paul, and Mary. My first concert ever, 11 years old, front row center. The kind of music you sing in the car driving through the mountains.
  23. Thunder Clatter
Wild Cub. For the clapping. 👏🏼
  24. Walking on Sunshine
Katrina and the Waves. Basically just grinnin and singin the whole song.
  25. Bandit Queen.
Colin Meloy. His voice is amazing and the story is awesome. The live version:
  26. **BONUS-The Decemberists Edition: The Crane Wife 1, 2, & 3
Really I could make a whole list of their songs, 100 long, and it still wouldn't be enough. Amazing. You're welcome.
