All Time Fav Movies and Why I Love Them So.

  1. Literally any of the Harry Potter movies.
I will drop whatever I am doing happily the second I hear Hedwig's theme song.
  2. A Cinderella Story.
Hilary Duff AND Chad Michael Murray? A fairytale romance twisted into a modern day storyline? Count me in.
  3. Ella Enchanted.
There's just something about this movie that draws me in. It's exactly what I look for in a movie without even knowing it's what I'm looking for, and I can't even name this quality that it has, but I just love it. Okay, I can name the quality and it's called Hugh Dancy on a horse.
  4. Dead Poet's Society.
    Carpe Diem!
  5. The Lion King 1 & 2.
Sometimes I think I watch Disney movies more than I should, but then I remember that Disney is awesome and I start rewatching the Lion King movies all over again.
  6. Big Fish.
The movie that introduced me to Ewan McGregor and also made me love storytelling. So classic it hurts.
  7. What We Do In the Shadows.
This New Zealand indie film hit me out of nowhere and lodged itself permanently in my heart as a classic. It's just so funny in its own weird wonderful way. "We're werewolves not swearwolves." Who even comes up with stuff like that???
  8. Austenland.
Everything about this movie is perfection. It's funny, it's sad, it's real, it's light, it's so wonderful. And it has JJ Fields as a Darcy-esque heartthrob, so sign me up.
  9. Stand By Me.
This story about four young friends who embark on a journey to find a dead body - it's classic. I throw that word around a lot but this movie is IT.
  10. Stardust.
I watched this movie and immediately watched it again. I've probably watched it a hundred times or more. It's got it all and I couldn't love it more. Also Charlie Cox - so enough said.
  11. How to Train Your Dragon
This movie (and its sequel) is so unexpectedly deep and dramatic and hilarious and well written and it contains so many elements of all the things I love, not in the least including dragons and Vikings. The kind of movie that just makes you happy, even if you've had the worlds worst day. The dragons name is TOOTHLESS, okay?? Nuff said.
