One Book, One Movie, and One Album That I Think Everyone Should Read, Watch, and Hear

  1. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Is it a cliché pick? Probably. Do I consider it necessary reading? Definitely. This book is so important, and it baffles me that some people (my brother included) graduated high school without reading it.
  2. St. Elmo's Fire
This is definitely not the greatest movie of all time. Not even close. But I think this movie is so comforting to any young adult feeling like he or she is at a crossroads. This movie got me through a bizarre freshman year of college, and now that I'm the age of the characters, it seems more relevant than ever.
  3. Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Not a bad song on this album. And when you consider the members of the band were barely speaking when they were making this album and that most of the songs are about each other, it makes this album even better.
