1. Princess Diana
I can't listen to Candle in the Wind (which was rewritten and performed at her funeral) without tearing up. I just hate how so much of her life seemed so unhappy and how her sons were just boys when she died. I can't handle it.
  2. Robin Williams
The man made the world happy with his brilliant talent, but unfortunately, his own life was so unhappy for so much of the time. I remember exactly where I was when I found out, and I've never been so close to crying about someone I didn't even know.
  3. Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina
It's scary how similar Whitney and Bobbi's deaths were. First, Whitney was one of the most talented people on the planet. She has one of my favorite voices of all time. And then to struggle with abuse and drugs...it just doesn't seem right. And poor Bobbi Kristina. It appears she too wound up in an abusive relationship, and then suffered a very similar fate. It's heartbreaking.
  4. Cory Monteith
We know that pre-Glee, Cory struggled with drug abuse but sobered up for years before getting back into them. It's crushing that for someone so young, with such talent, and such a seemingly happy life, that this was his fate. My heart aches for Lea Michele to this day.
