Lessons I Learned at Law School.

  1. People are crazy.
  2. Merit means nothing. The worst people in life get ahead by doing absolutely nothing.
  3. Alliances are golden, but sometimes they can be like gilded lead.
  4. When you find an actual friend, you huddle close to them with all your might.
  5. Keep your head down, and work your ass off.
  6. Fight like hell to stay sane.
  7. Good people suffer needlessly at the expense of bad ones.
  8. Sometimes, "good people" aren't always so good. There is no intrinsic value system to anyone trapped in a crazy-making, vicious environment such as law school.
  9. Nothing is "real". Everything is permitted.
  10. Eventually, you will escape it...but, you'll never forget it.
