1. I just wanted to say the following:
  2. I often forget the dramatic changes that have happened this year, so much so that I just assume they are commonplace.
  3. Too much was lost this year. Too many dear friends and family, gone. A deep sadness was felt all over the world. It was like there would never be happiness ever again.
  4. However, today is Christmas. To me, this is the one "neutral" day, the day in which the world stops for one moment and puts down its troubles, and we are human beings again.
  5. It's not intended to be religious necessarily. The feeling isn't derived from any one faith. It is universal sense of peace and harmony with each other. A sense of global communion.
  6. So...my hope for the world on this day is that we celebrate with those people that matter to us the most, near or far.
  7. My other ridiculous hope is that this feeling lasts everyday. I know that it doesn't, but it's always my hope.
  8. I am very blessed to be a part of people's lives, and blessed to be a part of others. I have met so many wonderful and amazing people through this community this year.
  9. I am truly grateful to be alive, relatively well, and with you all. Thank you so much for your support and friendship. You are all the best.
  10. I wish you all could join me for some "Smoking Bishop" too.
  11. I love you all. You are all so very wonderful. I truly hope to meet each of you one day, shake your hand and give you a hug.
  12. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanza.
  13. Love to you all.
