random thoughts on millennials. I'm not saying I've totally mastered these.
  1. I wish we talked about religion more.
most people my age that I come across are totally apathetic about religion or have spent no time pondering it. it's an important thing to process. or at least, it's interesting as hell (pun?). the only time we speak of religion cannot and should not be to put others' down.
  2. I wish we were more okay with being alone.
"All alone! Whether you like it or not, alone is something you'll be quite a lot!" –Dr. Seuss inevitably we all end up alone from time to time. I feel like we're not okay with that. we're all afraid of missing out and stressfully making plans to keep busy and not miss out. I wish we knew how to be alone with ourselves in a healthy and productive way.
  3. I wish there weren't so many unspoken rules and norms.
I hate the way most relationships and friendships function. there's too many dynamics and people are too sensitive. (I don't totally know what I'm saying) for example, I've seen people avoid posting stuff from an event on their snapchat stories so their uninvited friend won't get offended. or why are good morning texts in relationships such a big thing. who gives a hell???? we gotta get over ourselves
