I've never found it easy to fall asleep at night, but the past week or so has been particularly awful. Tonight is no different, so here's what I've done instead of sleeping.
  1. Stared at the ceiling for a while.
  2. Some push-ups
    Maybe they'll tire me out enough to fall asleep?
  3. Put on a Golden Girls DVD so it wouldn't be so eerily quiet.
    And proceeded to watch almost an entire season.
  4. Ate cold Mac and cheese and an apple.
    Because I always get hungry after 1am.
  5. Scrolled through every picture I've ever liked on Instagram.
  6. Stared at the ceiling some more.
  7. Watched the trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
  8. Scrolled through my likes on Twitter.
    There are a lot more of these than things I've liked on Instagram, so I didn't get very far before I was bored out of my skull.
  9. It's currently 3:20am. Going to put the phone down now, but we'll see what happens.
    Probably more staring at the ceiling...
