I'm a big TV watcher, in addition to TV movies. I'm not much of a fan of hallmark or lifetime, but I am planning to watch Mayim Bialik's the flight before Christmas, so I can see Carl and Harriet Winslow back together! But anyway here is a list of movies I continue to watch year after year at Christmastime!
  1. Holiday in your heart
I was a big Leann rimes fan as a kid, and my parents taped this movie off the tv for me when I was 9. It features Leann as a fictionalization of herself and as she is getting ready to make her grand ole opry debut, her grandma gets sick. Bernadette Peters plays a former country star who mentors Leann & teaches her some valuable lessons. It also has an important message about remembering where you came from and who helped you along the way.
  2. Snowglobe
I first saw this movie on Netflix, but now I try to catch it on Abc family's 25 days of Christmas lineup. It is a bit cheesy, but I still enjoy it!
  3. Mrs. Santa Claus
I love this TV movie musical! Nothing beats Jerry Herman's lyrics, Angela Lansbury singing, and a sweet story!
  4. A smoky mountain Christmas
I saw this movie by chance when I was home sick in high school. It cheered me up immensely. I love it because it is Snow White as a Christmas story, complete with a witch poisoning an apple pie. I still watch my tape of it, and now I can watch it on YouTube!
