My Favorite Rankin Bass Christmas Specials

As a kid, my grandparents got my sister and me a videocassette set of the four rankin bass Christmas classics. While frosty the snowman was the only one I was interested in, now I have watched the others on tv. Abc family airs other little known ones during 25 days of Christmas, so I decided to make a list of my favorites!
  1. Frosty the snowman
This was my favorite! I watch it both on tape and on TV whenever it airs!
  2. The first Christmas snow
I discovered this one on abc family a few yard ago. It's the story of a little shepherd boy named Lucas who becomes blind in a thunderstorm. He is taken in by kind nuns. He learns all about snow and participates in the Christmas pageant. Angela Lansbury plays the voice of Sister Theresa, who shows the most kindness to Lucas and sings "white Christmas."
  3. Frosty's winter wonderland
I consider this to be a better sequel than frosty returns to the original. I love how frosty gets married to Crystal, and Jack Frost changes his ways and becomes nice.
  4. Nestor the long eared Christmas donkey
Another abc family find! Roger Miller sings and narrates the story of Nestor. It has a Bambi vibe to me due to Nestor's mother dying, and I love how Nestor's story turns out!
